gun reviews

Rock Island Tactical VZ Grip 2011 - This is not just a sexy firearm, it is also a great shooter. It ships from the factory with array of additional features and a price tag you can afford.

Saiga 7.62x39 Rifle - The Saiga 7.62x39mm is proof that the venerable Kalashnikov design is as good today as it has always been. With the cost of ammo on the rise, this AK variant seems like a practical solution.

Smith & Wesson M&P Shield- The Smith and Wesson Shield is affordable, works with cheap ammo, comfortable, reliable, and has a pretty darn consistent shot group. Welcome to the new carry!

Taurus PT1911 - For those looking for a new 1911, I highly recommend at least trying this one out. For those that are new to the handgun market, new to the .45 ACP, or new to 1911’s in general, this is a good step in the right direction.

Sig Sauer P229 - This is a wonderful firearm in a great platform that was an absolute pleasure to shoot. We tested the 357 Sig model, but I could have sworn it was a 9mm.

Sig Sauer | Sig Pro SP2022 - Wow, I really love this gun. It's light, proved reliable, dead accurate and it's a Sig. This has to be the most under rated polymer on the market today.

Ruger SR9C - It is a great firearm, I look forward to many hours/years of working with it. And, the price is icing on the cake too!

Ruger GP100 - We tested this 357 magnum and without a doubt, it is a revolver that is definitely worth the money. This is one that will be passed down for generations.

Springfield XD 40 - For a potent 40SW this is a very smooth and reliable platform. It will give any Glock a run for their money. The Springfield XD40 has quickly won me over with great ergonomics, butter smooth trigger, and very manageable recoil.

ammo reviews

Underwood 9mm +P+ Ammo - We finally get a chance to review some of Underwood's premium 9mm handgun ammunition. Huge fans of Gold Dot bullets, we are pretty excited considering the speeds Underwood is pushing them at. We are quite certain you will be to.

PMC Starfire Ammo - We have all seen the PMC ammo in the stores. It is moderately priced ammo that sounds promising, but can you trust it? Have you ever tried it? We have, and we are going to tell you what we think about it. Here is our experience with the PMC starfire hollow points.

LeHigh Defense Ammo - Lehigh defense makes the largest expanding hollow points on the market. Their Maximum Expansion hollow points have set a new standard to which all hollow points will now be compared.

Winchester PDX1 - Winchester's home defense rounds are bonded copper jacket hollow points. We see these rounds all over the place so we decided to give them a whirl. We test 45ACP and 9MM. - coming soon

Magnum Mach 1 Boots - Weighing a mere 20oz. this is one of Magnums new tactical boots. Magnum boots can be seen worn by military, law enforcement, firefighters and regular Joe's as well. These are great boots.

Blade-Tek Mag Pouch - this little dual well mag pouch is perfect and for Midway's price of $22.00, cannot be beat.

Sport Ear Muffs - These are very affordable which fits my "Keep this IDPA hobby of mine off the wife's radar" model right down to the ground.
